Generally I hate uniform redesigns, and Nike in particular is notable for making everything look Arena-leaguish. I would say that this year’s Florida design, however, isn’t the worst I have seen.
But “Pro Combat” as a moniker? Really?
It wasn’t that long ago that Kellen Winslow was getting killed for likening himself to a soldier in “war” when on the field. Seven years later it seems our sensitivities have lessened, as Nike has a “battlefield-inspired” homepage to roll out the line. Maybe Kellen needs to call his agent - his time has come.
